Late nights, early mornings, drop offs, pick ups, dinner time, shower time, homework, soccer practice….oh the life of a mom! We spend so much time doing everything for others but when do we stop and take care of our selves? 3 years ago I took a leave of absence from teaching to stay home so I could care for my son who was about to go under a major surgery that would require me to care for him extensively for 6 months. At the time my plate was FULL. I really didnt think I could take on one more thing…but I also knew that I wasn’t taking care of myself. I was tired. I had constant stomach aches. Bags under my eyes. I cried. I was overwhelmed. And, I was unhappy in my own skin. Sound familiar?
So over the next few months, I made a commitment to myself that I was no longer going to put myself last. I knew that in order to be the best mom, I also had to be the best version of me. I committed to eating healthier they day my son had surgery. After he came home, I woke up 30-45 minutes earlier to take the time to exercise and it really set the tone for a better day. I was much more patient and I had way more energy to take care of him.
Before I had started I really thought I was eating healthy but I knew my portions were way off….little by little I started to gain energy, my stomach aches were gone, and I started feeling stronger. I really liked who I was changing in to!
Because of the support of my coach and accountability group, I was able to stay on track despite all I was going through with my son. We shared recipes, tips and really cheered each other on!
So now here I am as a coach and I want to pay it forward and help others feel the same thing I am feeling! We are gong to help you finally get some results the right way! No shots, pills or diets but instead this will become your new lifestyle…and I promise its nothing strict!!
When does the group start?
-Monday, February 20, 2017 with a week of plan and preparation and the workouts start the following Monday. The group is a 28 day program with the opportunity to continue on for Phase 2 and Phase 3.
What Do I Need For This Group?
-Each participant is required to have me as their coach. You can create an account here.
-You are required to do a Beachbody fitness program, which I will help you to pick the one that best fits your needs. When you fill out the application below I will contact you to go over your needs, your current struggles and then decide the program for you.
-You are required to replace 1 meal a day with Shakeology for the duration of the 5 weeks because as I am teaching you how to change your eating habits and give you the tools to make this a lifestyle change we want to have at least 1 meal each day that is quick and easy but isn’t lacking in your nutritional quality. Shakeology does that! It is my saving grace because quite honestly there are days that I am so busy that I don’t have time to make a balanced meal so this is my go to!!! Plus it really does taste awesome!
–You are required to log into our closed My Challenge Tracker App daily where I am going to share tips, recipes, meal plans, tips to handle eating out, and daily tips on how to LOVE YOURSELF and take the time to do things daily that will make you feel good. We will truly take your journey one day at a time! I have been through the process and I know at what point you want to throw in the towel, I know when you hit plateaus and what situations tend to trip you up. I have tools and tips for all of those. There is no more trying to navigate this change on your own. We are working at this together.
–My goal is to get you a program that you are excited about and that you start and complete it. I do not want it to be something that sits on your shelf and collects dust!
